Global Study Nepal was started by a Nepali engineer who spent years building software in the US tech industry โ and came home to build something that matters here.
Hereโs what we saw: more than a hundred thousand Nepali students leave for foreign study every year. It is, for most families, the single largest financial decision of their lives โ bigger than land, bigger than a house. Rs 20, 30, 50 lakh, often borrowed against the familyโs property.
And the information guiding that decision? It comes almost entirely from people paid on commission to steer it.
Most consultancies in Kathmandu are not evil. Many counselors genuinely care. But the structure is what it is: they earn when you enroll at institutions that pay them, and they earn nothing when they tell you "honestly, wait a year and save more" or "that country doesnโt fit your budget." So those sentences rarely get said โ and students find out the truth after the money is gone.
What we do differently
- The assessment says "no." If Australia doesnโt fit your budget, your report says so, with the math. We havenโt found another Nepali tool that does this โ if one exists, tell us and weโll link to it.
- Value before contact. Your full report โ costs, risks, roadmap โ shows without a phone number. Talking to us afterward is optional.
- Numbers with a date on them. Every cost we publish says when it was last verified, and every fix we make is logged publicly โ including the ones we catch ourselves.
- Transparent economics. We publish exactly how we make money โ the page every consultancy hopes you never think to ask about.
What we are not
We are not a visa agent, and we donโt guarantee visas โ nobody honestly can. Weโre the first step: the honest picture of where you stand, so that every step after it is taken with open eyes.
Questions, corrections, or just want to talk through your plan? We answer on WhatsApp โ free, no strings.
